Artist Bio:

Jake Ryno, a Digital Media and Design student at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, is passionate about video game design. More specifically he focuses on 3D Modeling and Level Design. Jake is from Tenafly, a small town in New Jersey. He has always been deeply interested in video games for as long as he could remember. His inspiration comes from the joy that he was able to foster through playing video games, which in-turn he hopes to be able to give that same feeling to others through the creation of his future games.

Artists Statement:

My name is Jake Ryno and I like to create art using 3D modeling software. I want to create artwork for video games. This medium is important to me because playing video games has been a major part of my life since I was a child. When I was young, I was heavily influenced by games like Zelda and Super Mario. I want to make video games because I want to establish that same connection with my audience. I feel that video games are the most complete form of art, the most interactive. A video game combines storytelling and art in a way that lets players take control of the art itself. I feel that the best way for someone to experience my art is to play it. I love learning about design, especially in story-telling! I have a huge love for gaming and its community, especially with game development.

Here are some games that Iā€™m playing right now:

VALORANT

League of Legends

Bayonetta 2
